Left-leaning New York Times economic columnist Paul Krugman says the so-called "death panels" established by President Obama's trillion-dollar nationalized health-care plan will end up saving "a lot of money" for the government. The comments from Krugman, who also writes on the New York Times blogs, came during a discussion of "Obamacare" on the ABC News Sunday program "This Week."

His exact quote: "The advisory panel which has the ability to make more or less binding judgments on saying this particular expensive treatment actually doesn't do any good medically and so we are not going to pay for it. That is actually going to save quite a lot of money. We don't know how much yet. The CBO gives it very little credit, but, but most, most of the health care economists I talk to think that's going be a really, uh a really major cost saving."

So, they aren't even denying the concept any more!

Some call me paranoid and the media is hoping that people like me just go off the deep end so they can finally prove to the world how evil we fiscal conservatives really are. They jokingly say thing like, "What else can you expect from the Anti-christ? Funny. I don't think that of him at all. I think he is, however, a stooge for some other power. Too much of what he and congress are passing, yet cannot seem to read themselves, is based on the removal of freedoms.

Have you read the wording in the bill? I have. They are speaking of a registry of every medical device implanted in every human being as well. They are talking of a mandatory tracking of....and therefor...rationing of such devices. It paves the way for a direct implanting of chosen devices and tracking of the health habits, life choices, and personal whereabouts of the individual with said implants.

I'm sorry that you people so in favor of this thing can't even let yourselves read the bill as written and understand just how purposely ambiguous it is about some things and how blatant it is about others. Time will tell if I'm just paranoid or you are just ignorant of the truth.

Why the Healthcare Bill Could Be Repealed

Do we even begin to understand what we have let ourselves in for here? I also note, that most do not even care enough to address the seizure of the college loans, the hidden taxations, or the direct mandates on your choices as a human being that were openly slipped into both the original bill and the reconciliation bill.

I note that they choose instead to attempt to mock the raising of alarms and scrutiny of the bill. Yet all of you, like I, will be affected by the policies in this thing that you chose not to read, your congress chose not to read, and your president chose to pass against the will of 70% of the American people. you, like I will be forced onto unemployment, government health care, government ownership of all once private assets, and government monitoring of our very existence. But now that some of you voted for and got your cakes and circuses, you don't even want to face the reality of it.

Do you at all understand that this country is now teetering at the precipice of ruin? Even the right to protest that was held so sacred in the last presidency, is being marginalized, mocked, and criminalized. Where once Americans stood for personal liberty for this group or that, they cower in a corner when the individual liberty of every member of the nation is at stake. They fear the government instead of insisting upon their right to redress of grievances, assembly, and speech. They wallow in political correctness, afraid to be called "dissident", "traitor", "extremist", "racist". And they allow the media to control their minds and distort the truth of what is happening to them. They dare not even speak for fear of being imprisoned or having their reputation smeared by the machine. They refuse to stand and be individuals.

And now, the government owns your house, your car, your education, and your health. We are monitored and controlled. And soon, anyone choosing to speak out as I do will be silenced. (Or at least, they will try).
