Is Obama a socialist???
That seems to be the burning question these days among some pundits, people and the internet crowds. I don't know honestly, but it's kinda hard to not think so when Obama is praised by the likes of Chavez and Castro and is requested by Imanutjob to see Iraq as a friend. And then there is the Gov't take over of GM, the forced merger of Chrysler with Fiat, the take over of banks, the attempt to set income earning levels of CEO's and other heads of businesses, the attempt to FORCE everyone in the US (yes I am including illegal aliens) to get health insurance or face a $3500 tax/fine...etc He may not be one in name, but he sure is showing it in actions. There is still private property in the united states and I don't see obama advocating the elimination of private property so he is not a total socialist.
Somewhere between Anarcho-capitalism and socialism you have normal,, which isn't to far from the economic principles of fascism. Is obama more to the left (socialism) than bush and previous presidents in recent memory.. maybe. Dubya really was not apposed to government ownership of certain banks. The health care debate is little more than a repeat of Clinton and 94. As far as nationalized health insurance and healthcare? Do we lament socialized justice in the form of our court systems? Do we lament socialized defense in our military? etc etc. Is he a socialist.. I don't know. Does his wife think she is to good to pick up dog poo. That is what I have heard.

I'd settle for something vaguely resembling a capitalist.

How could he possibly be a capitolist when he has never produced anything in his life, other than prose?
No sure that he is a socialist, but he certainly shows very strong communist tendancies. He may have enough sense to only move us in that direction instead of having an outright revolution resulting in his dictatorship. But I could be wrong about that...

The evidence says "YES". (Not my Ouija board. Which I've long abandoned....)
